2026 Jawa 42 FJ All Stars Launched at ₹2.02 Lakh – Six New Colours Including Chrome

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has refreshed the Jawa 42 FJ for 2026 with the introduction of the new 42 FJ All Stars range. Priced from ₹2.02 lakh, the updated neo-classic roadster is offered in six new colour schemes, including a range-topping Chrome finish. The motorcycle’s engine, chassis and core mechanical package remain unchanged.

The new All Stars range appears to be primarily a styling-led update aimed at giving the 42 FJ a more distinctive identity rather than changing its performance credentials.

The Jawa 42 FJ All Stars range starts at ₹2.02 lakh and is available in six new colour options.

Six New All Stars Colours

The biggest change for 2026 is the new paint palette.

Customers can choose between:

  • All Stars Red

  • All Stars Aurora Green

  • All Stars Nebula Blue

  • All Stars Matte Black with Red Clad

  • All Stars Matte Black with Black Clad

  • All Stars Chrome

The motorcycles also feature an All Stars-themed star graphic on the sides of the fuel tank, complementing the 42 FJ's existing brushed aluminium tank panels.

The Chrome version is positioned at the premium end of the line-up, while the two matte-black options should appeal to riders looking for a darker, more contemporary interpretation of Jawa's retro design.

Same 334cc Alpha2 Engine

There are no changes underneath the new colour schemes.

The Jawa 42 FJ All Stars continues with the familiar 334cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, single-cylinder Alpha2 engine.

The output makes the 42 FJ one of Jawa's stronger-performing offerings while allowing it to retain the relaxed neo-classic positioning of the existing motorcycle.

Chassis and Suspension Unchanged

The 42 FJ continues to use a double-cradle frame.

Suspension duties are handled by:

Front: 41mm telescopic forkRear: Gas-charged twin shock absorbers with five-step preload adjustment

Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle uses an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup.

Other key dimensions include:

Seat height

790 mm

Ground clearance

178 mm

Fuel tank

12 litres

Kerb weight

Approx. 184-185 kg

The relatively accessible 790mm seat height should continue to work in the 42 FJ's favour for riders who want a middleweight roadster without an intimidating saddle height.

Equipment

The equipment list also carries over and includes:

Fully digital instrument console, LED lighting, dual-channel ABS and the distinctive brushed aluminium fuel-tank inserts.

The 42 FJ also offers Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charging provision depending on specification.

What Exactly Has Changed?

Mechanically, very little.

The 2026 Jawa 42 FJ All Stars is essentially a cosmetic refresh that introduces a fresh family of colours and a more recognisable visual theme.

That means existing characteristics such as the 334cc engine, six-speed transmission, suspension, braking hardware and dimensions remain broadly unchanged.

For buyers, the decision therefore comes down primarily to which new paint scheme they prefer—and whether the additional premium for shades such as Chrome is worthwhile.

Availability

Jawa says the 42 FJ All Stars range is available through Jawa Yezdi dealerships across India.

Auto Punditz Take

The All Stars treatment is a sensible mid-cycle refresh for the Jawa 42 FJ because the motorcycle didn't necessarily need a mechanical overhaul.

The Chrome, Aurora Green and two Matte Black combinations significantly broaden the bike's visual appeal, which matters considerably in the retro-roadster segment where design and personalisation often influence purchasing decisions almost as much as specifications.

More importantly, Jawa has retained the 334cc Alpha2 engine's healthy 29.17 hp and 29.62 Nm output, keeping the 42 FJ competitive from a performance perspective.

At approximately ₹2.02 lakh to ₹2.16 lakh, however, buyers will inevitably evaluate it alongside several established 300-400cc motorcycles. The All Stars update therefore strengthens the Jawa's emotional and styling proposition rather than fundamentally changing the value equation.
