Komaki has expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio in India with the launch of two new metal-body electric scooters — MG Pro V and MG Pro+. The new scooters are priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999, respectively, and are aimed at buyers looking for affordable electric mobility with stronger build quality and practical everyday range.
The biggest highlight of the new MG Pro range is its all-metal body construction, a feature not commonly seen in electric scooters at this price point. While several affordable electric scooters rely on fibre body panels to control costs, Komaki is positioning the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ as more durable alternatives for Indian road conditions.

Komaki MG Pro V and MG Pro+ Price & Range
Model | Price | Claimed Range |
Komaki MG Pro V | ₹73,999 | 90–100 km |
Komaki MG Pro+ | ₹79,999 | 150+ km |
The MG Pro V offers a claimed riding range of 90–100 km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily city commutes. The higher-spec MG Pro+ extends the claimed range to 150+ km, which should appeal to users with longer daily travel needs or those seeking fewer charging stops.
Both scooters are powered by a BLDC hub motor and use LiFePO4 battery technology, which Komaki highlights for reliability, safety and long-term durability. The company says the scooters are designed to offer dependable performance with low maintenance requirements.
Features: App Connectivity, Disc Brake, Anti-Theft Lock
Komaki has equipped both scooters with several convenience and safety-oriented features. These include:
Mobile app connectivity for battery health and range monitoring
Front disc brake
Telescopic suspension
Anti-theft lock
Parking assist
Repair switch
Spacious riding platform
The MG Pro+ additionally gets a larger boot space, making it more practical for everyday usage such as office commutes, shopping runs or short urban deliveries.
What Komaki Says
Commenting on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder, Komaki Electric Vehicles, said that affordability should not come at the cost of quality. She added that with the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, Komaki wants to offer customers features usually associated with more expensive vehicles, including a strong metal body and long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries.
Auto Punditz Take
The affordable electric scooter segment in India is becoming increasingly competitive, but build quality remains a key concern for many buyers. Komaki’s decision to offer a metal-body scooter below ₹80,000 gives the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ a clear talking point.
The MG Pro V appears positioned as a budget-friendly city commuter, while the MG Pro+ targets buyers who want longer range without crossing into premium electric scooter pricing. If the real-world range and after-sales experience match the claims, the new MG Pro range could find interest among value-conscious EV buyers looking for durability, practicality and low running costs.
