Mahindra recorded passenger vehicle wholesales of 60,393 units in June 2026, registering a strong 47% year-on-year growth over the 41,108 units sold in June 2025. The company also improved its performance sequentially, with volumes rising by 4% month-on-month from 58,021 units in May 2026.
The June performance was supported by Mahindra’s broad SUV portfolio, with the Scorpio, Thar, XUV 3X0, XUV 7X0 and Bolero each crossing the 9,000-unit mark. The addition of newer models such as the XUV 7X0 and 9S also materially expanded the company’s overall volumes compared with the previous year.

Scorpio continued to lead Mahindra’s portfolio with sales of 14,097 units in June 2026. Volumes increased by 11% compared with 12,740 units in June 2025, demonstrating the continued strength of the Scorpio brand.
Thar was Mahindra’s second-best-selling model, with 10,669 units dispatched during June 2026. Sales grew by 12% year-on-year from 9,542 units.
The strongest performance came from the XUV 3X0, which registered sales of 10,063 units. Volumes increased by an impressive 42% year-on-year, compared with 7,089 units in June 2025.
XUV 7X0 recorded sales of 9,244 units in June 2026. Compared with May 2026, sales declined marginally by 1% from 9,338 units. The model nevertheless maintained a substantial monthly run rate and contributed around 15.3% of the company’s June volumes.
Bolero continued to demonstrate remarkable longevity, recording sales of 9,115 units in June 2026. This was 22% higher than the 7,478 units sold in June 2025.
9S registered sales of 4,018 units, improving by 15% from 3,502 units in May 2026.
Together, the XUV 7X0 and 9S contributed 13,262 units, representing nearly 22% of Mahindra’s total monthly passenger vehicle sales. Their inclusion significantly strengthened the company’s overall growth rate.
The XEV 9e recorded sales of 2,006 units, declining by 29% from 2,808 units in June 2025. However, volumes improved by 3% compared with 1,939 units in May 2026.
BE 6 registered sales of 1,150 units, down 4% year-on-year but up a strong 27% month-on-month from 902 units.
Meanwhile, the XUV400 recorded just 31 units, representing a decline of 87% year-on-year and 76% month-on-month.
One of the most important aspects of Mahindra’s June performance was the distribution of volumes across multiple high-selling models. The Scorpio, Thar, XUV 3X0, XUV 7X0 and Bolero each sold more than 9,000 units. Together, these five SUVs contributed 53,188 units, accounting for approximately 88% of Mahindra’s total passenger vehicle sales.

The Scorpio retained its position as the company’s best-selling model, while the XUV 3X0 delivered the strongest growth. The Thar, XUV 7X0 and Bolero also maintained substantial monthly volumes.
Although new models significantly boosted the headline growth rate, Mahindra’s established portfolio also expanded at a healthy pace. With five models crossing 9,000 units and nearly 88% of sales concentrated among its leading SUVs, Mahindra’s June performance underlines the strength and scalability of its SUV-focused strategy.
