Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza becomes India’s fastest-selling compact SUV to clock 6 lakh sales!
India’s best-selling compact SUV, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, set yet another milestone, clocks 6 Lakh sales within a time span of 5 years. Since its launch in 2016, Vitara Brezza has been the market leader in the Sub-4m Compact SUV segment. Its dominance over the segment is evident from the fact that it has not only emerged as the fastest-selling compact SUV in the country, but also the most awarded compact SUV.

While Ford was the first entrant in the segment with the Ecosport; Brezza realized the sales potential in the segment. Brezza was an instant hit since launch and crossed 1 Lakh sales within 12 months of its launch.
Its all-time highest monthly volume was in the month of Oct'18 when 15,832 units were dispatched. Brezza was able to breach the 15k/mth WS mark for 3 times in its lifetime.
CY2018 has been the best year in terms of sales for the model. Do note that Hyundai launched the Venue in 2019 and Kia launched Sonet in 2020. Now the segment has 10 offerings and is also one of the most competitive segments in India.
