Renault Sales July 2026: Dispatches Rise 28% YoY to 3,293 Units; Kwid and Kiger Post Strong Growth

Renault India dispatched 3,293 passenger vehicles in July 2026, registering a healthy 28% year-on-year growth compared with 2,575 units sold during July 2025. However, on a month-on-month basis, Renault’s volumes declined by 19% from 4,063 units recorded in June 2026.
The company’s July performance was supported by strong year-on-year growth from the Kwid and Kiger, while the Triber remained Renault’s highest-selling model despite witnessing a decline. The newly introduced Duster also contributed more than 500 units to Renault’s monthly tally.

Renault Triber continued to lead the brand’s portfolio with 1,762 units dispatched during July 2026. However, volumes declined by 11% year-on-year from 1,987 units in July 2025. Compared with June 2026, when Renault dispatched 1,871 Tribers, sales were down by another 6%.
Kwid delivered the strongest year-on-year growth within the company’s portfolio. Renault dispatched 516 units of the Kwid in July 2026, compared with just 265 units during the corresponding month last year. This represented a substantial 95% YoY increase.
Duster recorded 512 units in July 2026, making it the brand’s third-largest contributor during the month. Sequentially, however, Duster dispatches declined sharply by 49%, compared with 1,011 units in June 2026.
Kiger registered another notable improvement on a year-on-year basis. Dispatches stood at 503 units during July 2026, compared with 323 units in July 2025, translating into a strong 56% YoY growth. Month-on-month performance was weaker, with volumes declining 27% from 689 units in June 2026.
Overall, Renault India recorded 3,293 units in July 2026, compared with 2,575 units during July 2025. This translated into a solid 28% year-on-year increase, driven primarily by the strong performances of the Kwid and Kiger along with incremental volumes from the Duster. However, total dispatches declined 19% month-on-month, from 4,063 units in June 2026.

Renault’s July 2026 numbers therefore present a mixed picture. The company continues to record strong year-on-year growth, helped by improving demand for the Kwid and Kiger and the addition of the Duster to its portfolio. At the same time, the sharp month-on-month decline indicates that Renault will need stronger momentum from the Duster and Kiger in the coming months to sustain its recent growth trajectory.
