The Indian motorcycle market remained steady in May 2026, with the top 10 motorcycles collectively clocking 9,27,855 units, compared to 9,05,452 units in May 2025. This translated into a modest 2% year-on-year growth, indicating stable demand despite mixed performances across commuter, executive, and premium motorcycle segments.

Hero MotoCorp continued to dominate the motorcycle chart, led by the evergreen Splendor, while Honda Shine retained its second position despite a marginal decline. Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache, Honda CB Unicorn, and Royal Enfield Classic 350 were among the key gainers during the month.

• TVS Apache recorded 53,900 units in May 2026, up from 49,099 units in May 2025. This represented a 10% growth.

• TVS XL stood sixth with 48,569 units sold in May 2026, compared to 37,264 units in May 2025. The model posted a strong 30% year-on-year growth.

• Honda CB Unicorn registered 34,925 units in May 2026, up from 28,616 units in May 2025, growing by 22%. Its strong performance highlights continued demand for refined, comfortable, and reliable motorcycles in the 150cc commuter segment.
