Top 10 Selling Motorcycles in August 2026: Splendor Leads, Apache Posts Fastest Growth
Hero Splendor topped the motorcycle sales rankings in August 2026 with 3,53,842 units, followed by Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar. The ten motorcycles listed recorded combined sales of 9,27,578 units, compared with 8,81,874 units in August 2025—a 5.18% year-on-year increase. The combined gain of 45,704 units masked a mixed performance. Seven entries registered growth, while Pulsar, HF Deluxe and Platina recorded declines. TVS Apache delivered the fastest percentage growth, while Splendor added the most units.

Hero Splendor increased sales by 42,144 units over August 2025, securing a substantial lead over the rest of the field. It accounted for 38.15% of the combined volume of the ten listed motorcycles.
Honda Shine ranked second with 1,80,626 units, up 10% year-on-year. It added 16,663 units over the corresponding month last year. Splendor and Shine together contributed 5,34,468 units, or 57.62% of the listed total.
Bajaj Pulsar ranked third with 97,839 units, down 11% from 1,09,382 units. Hero HF Deluxe followed with 69,794 units, a decline of 22% from 89,762 units. HF Deluxe recorded the largest absolute fall among the ten entries, losing 19,968 units year-on-year.
TVS Apache stood fifth with 55,123 units, up 22% from 45,038 units. Its addition of 10,085 units gave it the highest percentage growth in the list. TVS Raider also improved, reaching 37,002 units against 33,434 units a year earlier. Together, the two TVS entries contributed 92,125 units, up 17.40% year-on-year.
Royal Enfield’s two entries registered healthy gains. Classic 350 ranked sixth with 43,428 units, an increase of 21%, while Bullet 350 occupied ninth place with 27,533 units, up 14%. Their combined sales reached 70,961 units, compared with 60,213 units in August 2025—a rise of 17.85%.
Honda’s Unicorn entry ranked eighth at 35,394 units, growing 21% over 29,274 units a year earlier. Bajaj Platina completed the top ten with 26,997 units. Its 31% decline from 39,110 units was the steepest percentage fall in the table. Pulsar and Platina together recorded 1,24,836 units, down 15.93% year-on-year.
