Top 25 Selling Cars in India for January 2021

10 out of Top 25 cars came from Maruti Suzuki’s stable! Also 5 Hyundai models fared in the list.
The Top 4 cars were Hatchbacks and were primarily Maruti Suzuki models. However; only 1 model posted a YoY growth.
There were only 2 SUVs in Top 10 – Creta & Venue. They registered a YoY growth of 78% and 75% respectively.
Tata Motors had 3 offerings in the Top 25 – Nexon, Altroz and Tiago. Do note that all 3 models had >60% YoY growth!
Kia Seltos outsold Sonet in Jan 2021. However, both the models were in Top 15 cars of the month.
Amaze was the sole Honda model to list in the Top 25! Similarly Triber was the lone Renault model in the list.
