The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 77% of the cars sold in November 2023. It had 10 models from Maruti, 4 from Tata, Hyundai & Mahindra each, 2 from Kia, and 1 from Toyota. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed over 47 percent to the Top 25!
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R retained the best-selling car tag for November 2023 with dispatches of 16,567 units. Maruti's Dzire ranked second on the list and it is after a very long time that a Sedan has fared in the Top 3! Tata delivers another ~15k sales mark for its best seller Nexon in Nov'23. The facelifted model was also the fourth best-selling car of Nov'23 and retained its tag as the Best Selling SUV! Its younger sibling Punch closed in at the fifth spot and also recorded an impressive 14,383 dispatches. Notably, Punch is standing strong even after the launch of Hyundai's Exter! An EV powertrain addition shall just strengthen the model even more.
Hyundai Creta was dethroned from the best-selling Mid SUV crown by Mahindra's Scorpio in Nov'23 again! Scorpio was just over 370 units ahead of Creta and ranked 9th in the overall list. Kia Seltos also regained momentum and with dispatches of near to 12k was clearly ahead of Grand Vitara. Honda Elevate was found missing in the Top 25 list for the second consecutive month! Mahindra had a great run for all its models in Nov'23 and even XUV700 posted steady sales (though New Harrier & Safari has been launched).
