TVS Sales August 2026: Volumes Rise 18% to 4.34 Lakh; Jupiter Leads
TVS recorded 4,33,796 units in August 2026, according to the supplied model-wise dispatch data. Volumes increased 17.6% year-on-year from 3,68,862 units in August 2025, while declining 0.8% month-on-month from 4,37,394 units in July 2026.
Jupiter remained the largest contributor, followed by Apache and the XL Super moped. The Orbiter and Ntorq 150 entries added a combined 26,599 units against zero volumes in both comparison periods, supporting the overall increase.

Jupiter contributed 1,47,450 units, accounting for approximately 34% of the total. Its volumes rose 4% over August 2025 but were broadly stable against July, with a decline of 1%. Jupiter alone added 5,039 units to the year-on-year increase.
Apache recorded 55,123 units, up 22% year-on-year, although volumes fell 7% from July.
Raider recorded 37,002 units, up 11% year-on-year and 8% month-on-month.
Ronin also grew on both measures. Its 11,679 units represented a 76% increase over August 2025 and a 9% gain over July 2026.
RR310 posted the highest percentage growth among models with a non-zero year-ago base, rising 118% to 1,925 units, though it declined 14% sequentially.
iQube recorded 42,882 units, up 76% year-on-year but down 28% month-on-month.
Orbiter contributed another 14,641 units
Ntorq entry fell 7% year-on-year and 26% month-on-month to 28,298 units.
XL Super recorded 45,936 units, up 5% year-on-year but down 9% from July.
Zest grew 19% year-on-year and 8% month-on-month to 11,213 units.
Radeon declined 3% year-on-year to 14,074 units.
Sport fell 15% to 11,615 units.
Star City recorded zero dispatches, compared with 4,260 units a year earlier. A zero monthly dispatch figure by itself does not establish that a model has been discontinued.
AutoPunditz Take
TVS added 64,934 units over August 2025. Orbiter and Ntorq 150 together accounted for approximately 41% of that net increase, while the remaining listed models collectively grew 10.4% year-on-year.
The overall picture combines a stable high-volume contributor in Jupiter with growth from Apache, Raider, Ronin and electric scooters. Although total dispatches softened slightly from July, combined electric scooter and Ntorq figures show why the individual model declines should be read alongside the additional entries in the portfolio.
