Ather Energy posted a strong performance in July 2026, with total dispatches reaching 31,044 units, more than doubling from 15,096 units in July 2025. This translates to a robust 106% year-on-year growth.
On a month-on-month basis, however, Ather's volumes remained largely stable. The company had dispatched 31,063 units in June 2026, indicating virtually flat sequential performance in July.
The key driver of Ather's July volumes was the Rizta electric scooter, which continued to account for the bulk of the brand's sales.

Ather Rizta registered 24,833 units in July 2026, a 119% year-on-year increase from 11,345 units last year. Compared to June 2026's 24,742 units, volumes were stable, indicating a consistent monthly run rate. Rizta contributed 80% of Ather's total July 2026 dispatches, underscoring its significance to the company's volume strategy.
The consolidated Ather 450 range recorded 6,211 units in July 2026. Dispatches slightly declined from 6,321 units in June 2026, resulting in a 2% month-on-month drop. Previously, July 2025 data was reported separately for the 450S, 450X, and 450 Apex variants, but in July 2026, these variants show zero dispatches, with volumes accounted under the consolidated 450 line.
At the overall level, Ather's dispatches increased from 15,096 units in July 2025 to 31,044 units in July 2026, translating into growth of approximately 106%.
The sharp annual increase underlines the impact of the Rizta on Ather's scale.

Auto Punditz Take
Ather's July 2026 numbers highlight an important transition for the EV manufacturer.
Crossing the 31,000-unit monthly dispatch mark while recording 106% YoY growth is significant, but the bigger story is the dominance of the Rizta in the company's portfolio.
With the Rizta contributing nearly 80% of volumes, Ather has successfully expanded beyond its traditional enthusiast-oriented customer base and established a meaningful presence in the mass-market family scooter segment.
The near-flat performance versus June also indicates that the next phase of growth will depend on Ather's ability to push volumes beyond the current 30,000-31,000-unit monthly range while maintaining momentum across both the Rizta and 450 portfolios.
For now, July 2026 reinforces one clear trend: Rizta has become the cornerstone of Ather's sales growth in India.
