BS6 KTM 250 Duke launched with All New LED Headlamps & Supermoto Mode

The BS6 quarter litre KTM 250 DUKE gets upgraded with full LED headlamps; dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode; and all new colors – Dark Galvano & Silver Metallic

The BS6 Duke 250 is now aggressively styled full LED headlamp unit with DRL’s, dual-channel ABS with Supermoto mode, all new colors – Dark Galvano & Silver Metallic, and one touch start functionality. With components like open-cartridge upside-down WP forks, slipper clutch, and pre-load adjustable mono shocks this bike packs a solid punch at 30PS power and 24Nm of torque.

The BS6 KTM 250 DUKE is upgraded with “Supermoto” mode in its dual-channel ABS setup. With the “Supermoto mode” – it can be activated at the push of a button. When engaged, the Supermoto system only controls ABS on the front brake. Rear brake pressure is entirely up to the rider’s right foot, allowing you to push your riding skills to the absolute limit. The addition of the aggressively styled split LED headlamp with attractive DRL’s on the KTM 250 DUKE is a big highlight in this bike’s design and a clear referral to its big brother, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R.

The “contactless cranking” in the KTM 250 Duke feature enables one-touch start (early cold start) which makes sure the engine is fired up with a single touch of the electric starter button. The KTM 250 DUKE now comes with two new color themes – Dark Galvano & Silver Metallic and is priced at Rs. 2,09,280 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Speaking on the occasion Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd.said “KTM 250 DUKE is a standout quarter litre motorcycle available for enthusiasts in the premium sport motorcycle segment. The vehicle is greatly inspired by KTM’s unparalleled racing legacy and comes with high-tech race ready engine & components. As a quarter litre KTM it offers the best in biking performance and urban practicality. These upgrades on the KTM 250 DUKE will further enhance its appeal amongst the core biking enthusiasts”
