Hero MotoCorp registered 5,32,433 units in April 2026, recording a strong 85% year-on-year growth compared to 2,88,524 units sold in April 2025. However, on a month-on-month basis, sales declined by 4% from 5,52,505 units in March 2026.
The growth was largely driven by Hero’s core commuter motorcycle portfolio, especially the Splendor, HF Deluxe, Glamour, and Passion. Scooter sales also showed healthy improvement year-on-year, while the premium and performance motorcycle range remained relatively small in overall contribution.

Splendor accounted for more than 54% of all April dispatches on its own. The slight 8% month-on-month dip is typical post-year-end inventory normalisation.
HF Deluxe more than doubled its year-ago volumes and was the only high-volume bike to also gain sequentially in April, rising 8% over March. Its 121% YoY surge signals strong demand recovery in the entry-level motorcycle space.
The Xtreme 125R is carving out a sweet spot between everyday commuting and sporty styling. Its 66% YoY jump to nearly 20,000 units.
Passion doubled its April 2025 volumes, reflecting a robust rebound in the value-commuter segment. The 18% MoM decline, however, is the sharpest sequential drop among volume bikes.
Super Splendor rounds out the top five with a steady 47% YoY gain and a modest 3% sequential uptick.
Hero MotoCorp’s April 2026 performance was strongly supported by its mass-market commuter portfolio. The Splendor, HF Deluxe, Glamour, Passion, and Super Splendor together formed the backbone of the company’s volumes. The scooter business also showed positive year-on-year momentum, especially with Destini 125 and Vida.
