Conclusion

Toyota's strong hybrid strategy continues to deliver exceptional results, as the Innova Hycross and Hyryder together account for more than four out of every five hybrid cars sold in the country.

While Maruti Suzuki is gradually strengthening its hybrid portfolio through the Grand Vitara and Invicto, the sharp fall in Victoris sales impacted its overall performance. Meanwhile, Honda's City e:HEV delivered the biggest percentage growth of the month, suggesting that hybrid sedans continue to have a niche but loyal customer base.

With rising fuel prices, increasing consumer awareness and the absence of charging infrastructure concerns associated with EVs, strong hybrids are steadily emerging as an attractive alternative for buyers seeking better fuel efficiency without compromising on convenience.
