Hyundai sold 38,200 units in July and registered a YoY degrowth of -2.1% and a MoM growth of 79.2%. Creta was Hyundai’s best selling model and India’s 4th best seller for July 2020. The model also emerged as India best selling SUV for the month. It was also the sole model from Hyundai to cross 10k sales in July’20.
i10 Nios was the OEMs second best seller and sold over 8.3k units. It registered a YoY growth of 65% and MoM growth of mammoth 133%.
Venue ranked third for the OEM and around 6,734 units were dispatched in July 2020. The model shall now face stiff competition from upcoming Kia’s Sonet.
i20 sales remain strong even though the new model is on the cards. It was just behind Venue in sales and 6,344 units were shipped in July 2020.
