Mid-SUV Segment grew 83% YoY in February 2021

Mid-SUV segment grew almost double in Feb'21 v/s Feb'20 and Creta/Seltos duo led the segment volumes with over 56% contribution!
Mid-SUV Sales in India for February 2021 -
Hyundai's Creta topped the segment and grew a massive 1675% YoY. Do note that Creta was in a transition mode last Feb'20 and hence the base was low.
Kia Seltos is now consistent 2nd in the ranking table. The model however saw a decline of -41% YoY and fell over 4.1k units short of segment leader Creta.
MG's Hector recorded its all-time highest monthly volume and ranked third on the list. Kindly note that Hector volumes include the Hector Plus numbers as well.
Mahindra Scorpio dispatches were 3,532 units in Feb'21 and stood 4th in the ranking table.
Tata's Harrier & Safari ranked sixth and seventh accordingly. Interestingly; Safari+Harrier combined outsold the Hector twins in Feb'21.
The facelifted Jeep Compass helped the model cross 1k sales after 21 long months and it also grew 66% YoY.
