Piaggio Dispatches Rise 49% YoY to 3,741 Units in June 2026; Vespa Remains the Key Volume Driver

Piaggio recorded total two-wheeler dispatches of 3,741 units in June 2026, registering a strong 49% year-on-year growth over the 2,513 units dispatched in June 2025. The company also reported an 8% month-on-month increase compared with 3,468 units in May 2026.
The growth was primarily driven by the Vespa scooter range, while select Aprilia scooters and performance motorcycles also delivered healthy gains.

Vespa continued to be Piaggio’s largest-selling product line, accounting for 2,431 units, or nearly 65% of the company’s total dispatches during the month.Vespa volumes increased by a substantial 56% YoY, from 1,558 units in June 2025. Dispatches also improved by 7% MoM from 2,269 units in May 2026.
Aprilia SR125 registered dispatches of 483 units in June 2026. Although its YoY growth remained comparatively modest at 7%, the scooter posted a strong 35% MoM increase over the 359 units dispatched in May.
SR125 one of Piaggio’s strongest monthly growth contributors in June.
Aprilia SR150 recorded slightly higher volumes at 507 units, growing 50% YoY from 337 units. However, dispatches declined by 12% MoM compared with 577 units in May 2026.
Aprilia RS range led this category with 241 units, registering a strong 79% YoY growth over 135 units in June 2025. It also recorded a modest 4% monthly improvement compared with 232 units in May.
Aprilia Tuono posted the highest percentage growth in the portfolio. Dispatches rose to 79 units, representing a 155% increase both year-on-year and month-on-month from 31 units in the respective comparison periods.
No dispatches were recorded for the Aprilia RS660, RSV4 Factory, Tuareg and Moto Guzzi models during June 2026.

Auto Punditz Analysis
Piaggio’s June performance was supported by broad-based improvement across its principal volume products. Vespa remained the cornerstone of the portfolio, while the Aprilia SR125 delivered a notable monthly recovery.
The Aprilia RS and Tuono motorcycles also reported strong percentage growth, although their absolute contribution remained relatively limited.
With total dispatches growing 49% YoY and 8% MoM, Piaggio ended June 2026 with positive momentum. Sustaining Vespa demand and expanding Aprilia’s scooter and performance motorcycle volumes will be important for maintaining this growth trajectory in the coming months.
