The authorized Renault dealership in Hyderabad - PPS Renault was able to successfully deliver 100 Kiger Sub-4m Compact SUVs in a single day!
Renault Kiger was the latest launch in the highly competitive Compact SUV segment and was priced even lower than its Nissan sibling Magnite. Kiger is built on the CMF-A+ platform which is similar to the Nissan Magnite. Renault Kiger deliveries had commenced almost a week ago, and the French carmaker had made news by delivering over 1,100 units of the SUV across India on the first day!
Renault had dispatched 3,226 units of the Kiger in Feb'21 itself and placed in the Top 5 selling Compact SUVs of Feb'21. It was ahead of sibling Magnite by 235 units (source). Kiger overtook models like XUV300 & Ecosport in Feb'21 too.
Kiger shares its engine and gearbox options with the Magnite and is powered with a 1.0 liter, naturally aspirated, 3 cylinder, petrol engine that makes 70 hp power and 96 Nm torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual or 5 speed AMT. Kiger is also powered via a 1.0 liter, 3 cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine offering 97 hp power and 160 Nm torque mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT unit.
