Top 25 Selling Cars in India for February 2023

The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 79% of the cars sold in February 2023. It had 10 models from Maruti, 5 from Hyundai, 4 from Mahindra, and, 3 from Kia & Tata. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed over 51 percent to the Top 25!

Maruti Baleno emerged as the best-selling car of February 2023 with dispatches of 18,592 units. It was just 180 units ahead of Swift, but combined with Glanza numbers it sold over 22.8k units! Maruti's Alto ranked third in the list - However, the model grew a stupendous 57% YoY. The Top 6 cars were dominated by Maruti's stable and it also took the best-selling SUV crown with its Vitara Brezza.

Hyundai's Creta retained the crown as the highest-selling Mid SUV. However, it was closely followed by Maruti's Grand Vitara which already overtook Kia's Seltos. The Mid SUV segment has definitely expanded with Maruti's entry and has also garnered positive traction for the Hybrid powertrain.
