Maruti Suzuki's Baleno emerged as India's best-selling car, with 16,293 units dispatched in November 2024! The hatchback overtook Ertiga, the bestseller for the past 2 months. However, the Top 5 models sold in Nov'24 were above the 15k mark and the difference was razor thin between all. Hyundai's Creta retained its dominance and with dispatches of 15,452 units ranked second in Nov'24. Tata Motors Punch and Nexon finally got back in the Top 5 and ranked third and fourth respectively.
Only 3 Hatchback fares in the Top 10 and all are from Maruti's stable. In comparison, the Top 10 list is now dominated with 7 Utility Vehicles. Mahindra's Scorpio is now a usual model in the Top 10 list and has gained considerable volumes post the ScorpioN launch. The Thar Roxx launch has led to a massive increase in volumes and the Thar portfolio (3D+5D combined) is able to outsell the likes of 3XO, Bolero, Seltos, etc.
