Two Wheeler Sales Snapshot – June 2021

Two Wheeler dispatches in June 2021 increased by 4 percent when compared to June 2020. June 2021 saw many states lifting lockdown restrictions and easing curbs on operations. Almost all showrooms have opened and the sale of two-wheelers was back to normalcy. Due to the lockdown scenario in Apr’21 & May’21, the sales improved in June’21 due to the pent-up demand.

Though the timely arrival of monsoons is a positive sign, the reduced economic activity in rural India may affect sustained demand for two-wheelers.
