KTM RC 390 to be discontinued in India, dealership bookings stopped

There are reports that the KTM RC390 is being discontinued in India. Booking for the vehicle too has been stopped at the authorized dealership. The model has been removed from the company’s website. The discontinuing of the KTM RC390 will make space for the upcoming KTM 390. While it was there, the KTM RC390 offered a good fuel economy.

Its lightweight, compact engine packed a lot of punch,32kW (44 hp), being the sportiest option for the A2 riders. The bike was equipped with four valves in the cylinder head, actuated by two overhead camshafts and also the ultra-hard, carbon coated cam followers. They provided reliability as also longevity in spite of the higher output of the engine.

A dry weight of just 149 kg, an ingenious intake, and exhaust system, 46mm throttle body, and a meticulous fuel injection system made it a smart buy.
