Suzuki Motorcycle India registered a strong performance in July 2026, with total model-wise dispatches reaching 1,23,216 units, compared with 96,029 units in July 2025. This represents a healthy 28% year-on-year growth.
The performance was even stronger on a sequential basis. Suzuki's July 2026 dispatches increased by 35% month-on-month, from 91,264 units in June 2026.
The growth was led primarily by Suzuki's scooter portfolio, with the Access, Burgman and Avenis all recording significant gains. The newly introduced e-Access also contributed 825 units during the month.

The Suzuki Access was the company's top-selling product in July 2026, with 82,505 units dispatched. This represents a 21% YoY increase from 68,172 units in July 2025, and a 31% MoM increase from June 2026's 63,121 units. The Access accounted for 67% of Suzuki's total July 2026 dispatches, highlighting its significance in the company's Indian two-wheeler market.
Suzuki's second-largest contributor was the Burgman, with 30,607 units dispatched in July 2026. This marked a 29% YoY increase from 23,720 units in July 2025 and a 36% MoM rise from 22,454 units in June 2026.
The Suzuki Avenis became the fastest-growing high-volume model, with dispatches rising from 2,404 units in July 2025 to 7,061 units in July 2026, marking a 194% YoY growth. Compared to 3,740 units in June 2026, Avenis volumes increased by 89% month-on-month.
GIXXER dispatches stood at 1,225 units, up 14% YoY and 69% MoM.
The V-Strom SX recorded 904 units, representing a healthy 72% YoY increase from 525 units. Sequentially, dispatches were up 66% from 543 units in June 2026.
The GIXXER 250, however, remained under pressure on a yearly basis. Its July dispatches stood at only 61 units, down 34% YoY, although volumes improved by 53% MoM.
Suzuki's entry into the electric scooter segment through the e-Access is gradually adding volumes to the portfolio. The electric scooter recorded 825 units in July 2026, compared with 611 units in June, translating into a 35% sequential increase.
Suzuki sold 19 Hayabusa units in July 2026, a 50% YoY decline from 38 units in July 2025, and a 17% MoM decrease.
The DL800DE recorded nine units, up from six units in both July 2025 and June 2026, showing a 50% YoY and MoM growth.
No units of the GSX-8R were recorded during July 2026.

Auto Punditz Take
July 2026 was an exceptionally strong month for Suzuki Motorcycle India, with 28% YoY and 35% MoM growth in total model-wise dispatches.
The bigger takeaway, however, is the breadth of growth within Suzuki's scooter portfolio.
The Access remains the company's undisputed volume engine, but Burgman's 29% YoY growth and Avenis' 194% surge indicate that Suzuki is becoming less dependent on a single scooter nameplate for incremental growth.
At the same time, Suzuki's motorcycle portfolio remains relatively small. The encouraging growth seen on the Gixxer and V-Strom SX therefore comes from a modest base and is unlikely to materially alter Suzuki's overall product mix in the short term.
The e-Access is another model worth watching. Its 35% sequential improvement is encouraging, although volumes remain far below the company's petrol-powered scooters.
For now, Suzuki's July 2026 performance can essentially be described as a scooter-led growth story, with Access, Burgman and Avenis collectively driving the manufacturer past the 1.2 lakh-unit mark.
