TVS Two-Wheeler Sales May 2026: Jupiter, Apache, iQube and XL Super Drive 24% YoY Growth

TVS Motor Company reported a strong domestic two-wheeler performance in May 2026, with total dispatches reaching 3,84,565 units, compared to 3,09,287 units in May 2025. This translated into a healthy 24% year-on-year growth, supported by strong demand across scooters, motorcycles, EVs and mopeds.
On a month-on-month basis too, TVS maintained positive momentum. Sales grew from 3,48,545 units in April 2026 to 3,84,565 units in May 2026, registering a 10% MoM increase.

The TVS Jupiter continued to be the company’s largest-selling model by a wide margin. The scooter recorded 1,24,767 units in May 2026, up from 97,606 units in May 2025, posting a strong 28% YoY growth.Jupiter alone contributed nearly 32% of TVS’ total domestic two-wheeler volumes in May 2026. Compared to April 2026, when Jupiter sold 1,17,383 units, the model also grew by 6% MoM.
TVS’ electric scooter, the iQube Electric, delivered another impressive month. The model registered 42,192 units in May 2026, compared to 27,642 units in May 2025, growing by 53% YoY. On a month-on-month basis, iQube volumes increased from 37,193 units in April 2026 to 42,192 units in May 2026, marking a 13% MoM growth. The iQube has now become one of TVS’ most important volume pillars, contributing around 11% of the company’s May 2026 two-wheeler dispatches.
The TVS Apache remained the company’s strongest motorcycle brand in May 2026. Apache sales stood at 53,900 units, up from 49,099 units in May 2025, recording a 10% YoY growth. Compared to April 2026, Apache grew by 9% MoM.
The TVS Raider recorded 34,852 units in May 2026, marginally lower than 35,401 units in May 2025, resulting in a 2% YoY decline. However, the model showed a strong sequential recovery, growing 20% MoM from 29,064 units in April 2026.
The TVS Ntorq posted a solid performance with 34,127 units in May 2026, compared to 25,205 units in May 2025, growing by 35% YoY. Sequentially, Ntorq remained almost flat, with a marginal increase over April 2026 volumes of 33,994 units.
The TVS Zest also delivered steady growth. It sold 9,364 units in May 2026, up from 8,069 units in May 2025, registering 16% YoY growth. On a MoM basis, Zest grew 6%.
The TVS XL Super moped remained a significant volume contributor, especially in semi-urban and rural markets. The model registered 48,569 units in May 2026, compared to 37,264 units in May 2025, recording 30% YoY growth. It also grew 15% MoM, up from 42,246 units in April 2026. With nearly 49,000 units, XL Super was TVS’ third-largest-selling nameplate in May 2026, behind Jupiter and Apache.
The TVS Ronin posted a sharp 99% YoY growth, with sales rising from 4,770 units in May 2025 to 9,481 units in May 2026. It also grew 6% MoM, showing steady improvement.
The TVS RR310 recorded one of the highest growth rates in the portfolio. Sales jumped from just 208 units in May 2025to 1,979 units in May 2026, registering an 851% YoY growth. Compared to April 2026, RR310 grew 26% MoM.
The TVS Radeon sold 13,700 units in May 2026, up from 10,315 units in May 2025, growing 33% YoY. It also posted a strong 27% MoM growth over April 2026.
The TVS Sport recorded 11,634 units, slightly lower than 11,822 units in May 2025, resulting in a 2% YoY decline. However, it grew 28% MoM, indicating improved sequential demand.
The Star City registered zero dispatches in May 2026, compared to 1,886 units in May 2025.

Conclusion
TVS’ May 2026 performance was led by a broad-based recovery across product categories. The company’s top five models — Jupiter, Apache, XL Super, iQube and Raider — together contributed over 79% of total volumes.
The scooter portfolio remained the biggest strength, with Jupiter maintaining leadership within the TVS lineup and iQube continuing to scale rapidly in the EV space. Motorcycles also showed encouraging signs, especially Apache, Radeon, Ronin and RR310.
Overall, TVS delivered a strong month in May 2026, growing faster than many conventional two-wheeler players and benefiting from a balanced mix of scooters, motorcycles, mopeds and electric vehicles.
