Hero MotoCorp July 2026 Sales Analysis – Splendor Crosses 3.17 Lakh Units, Vida Doubles YoY

Hero MotoCorp dispatched 5,01,403 two-wheelers in July 2026, according to model-wise dispatch data. This compares with 4,12,397 units in July 2025, translating into a strong 21.6% year-on-year growth.

On a month-on-month basis, however, overall dispatches remained almost flat. Hero MotoCorp had dispatched 5,02,890 units in June 2026, meaning July volumes slipped marginally by around 0.3% MoM. The July performance was once again overwhelmingly driven by the Hero Splendor, while Vida emerged as one of the fastest-growing models in the portfolio.

• Splendor continued to dominate Hero MotoCorp’s portfolio, with dispatches reaching an impressive 3,17,247 units in July 2026. Volumes were up 35% YoY from 2,34,227 units in July 2025. Splendor alone accounted for roughly 63% of Hero MotoCorp’s total model-wise dispatches during the month, highlighting just how important the commuter motorcycle remains to the company.

• The HF Deluxe retained second position with 55,978 units dispatched in July.

  Its performance presented a mixed picture. Dispatches were down 22% YoY from 71,477 units, but improved a healthy 26% MoM from 44,292 units in June.

• One of the biggest highlights for Hero MotoCorp in July was its electric two-wheeler business. Vida recorded dispatches of 22,707 units, more than doubling from 11,225 units in July 2025. This translates into an impressive 102% YoY growth. The numbers indicate that electric scooters are rapidly becoming a meaningful contributor to Hero MotoCorp’s overall portfolio rather than remaining a niche business.

• Hero's commuter portfolio beyond Splendor also showed encouraging momentum.

  The Passion registered 19,211 units, representing 6% YoY growth and a much stronger 26% MoM increase.

• Meanwhile, the Super Splendor delivered one of the stronger performances among Hero's ICE motorcycles. Dispatches increased to 17,999 units, up 44% YoY and 11% MoM.

• The Glamour also reported healthy annual growth. Its dispatches stood at 12,995 units, rising 21% YoY, although volumes declined 7% MoM.

• The Xtreme 125R had a relatively weak July. Dispatches fell to 9,696 units, down 21% YoY from 12,287 units and 27% MoM from 13,220 units.

• Hero's scooter portfolio showed a mixed performance. The Destini 125 remained the company's largest conventional scooter nameplate with 19,142 units, though dispatches declined 3% YoY and 13% MoM.

• Xoom, however, delivered a much stronger performance. Its dispatches jumped to 9,375 units, marking 43% YoY growth and 39% MoM growth.

• Pleasure remained broadly stable on an annual basis at 8,470 units, while improving 19% sequentially.

• Hero also dispatched 1,653 units of the Xoom 160, up 13% MoM from 1,458 units in June.

• XPulse 200 recorded another notable performance with 4,649 units dispatched during July. Volumes grew 16% YoY and jumped an impressive 57% MoM from 2,957 units in June.

• Harley-Davidson X440, manufactured by Hero MotoCorp, registered 1,435 units in July 2026. This represents a healthy 31% YoY improvement from 1,099 units and 20% MoM growth over the 1,197 units recorded in June.

Auto Punditz Take

Hero MotoCorp's July 2026 dispatch data highlights two distinctly positive trends.

• The first is the continued extraordinary strength of the Splendor franchise. At more than 3.17 lakh units, Splendor remains the backbone of Hero's volumes and was responsible for nearly two-thirds of its dispatches during the month.

• The second — and strategically more interesting — development is Vida's rapid growth. Dispatches more than doubled YoY to 22,707 units, making the EV brand Hero's third-largest model line during July.

At the same time, Hero is seeing encouraging momentum from Super Splendor, Xoom, XPulse 200 and the Harley-Davidson X440. The weaker numbers for HF Deluxe on a YoY basis and the sharp decline in Xtreme 125R dispatches are areas to watch over the next few months.

Overall, Hero MotoCorp entered the second half of 2026 with substantially higher volumes than a year ago, while the near-flat MoM performance suggests the company maintained June's already elevated dispatch level rather than depending solely on a one-month spike.
