Auto Punditz Analysis

Royal Enfield’s June performance was overwhelmingly driven by its 350cc motorcycles. All four major models in this category posted double-digit annual growth, with the Bullet and Meteor recording particularly strong gains.

While the company crossed the significant milestone of one lakh monthly dispatches, demand remained concentrated within a small number of models. The 450cc and 650cc ranges together contributed less than 5% of total dispatches.

The strong performance of the Classic, Bullet, Hunter and Meteor reinforces Royal Enfield’s leadership in India’s mid-capacity motorcycle segment. However, improving volumes across its newer adventure, roadster and premium twin-cylinder offerings will remain important for broadening its product mix.
