India’s luxury electric car market registered 701 units in July 2026, growing 59.3% year-on-year. BMW retained the top position with 368 registrations and a 52.5% market share, while Tesla surged to third place with 115 units.

India's electric passenger vehicle market registered 32,036 units in July 2026, marking an impressive 82.9% YoY growth. Tata Motors dominated with a 42.5% market share, while Mahindra recorded 125.7% YoY growth and strengthened its second position.

Ather Energy recorded a strong Q1 FY27 performance, with revenue from operations increasing 88.8% to ₹1,216.9 crore. The company also turned EBITDA positive, while its net loss narrowed by 71% year-on-year.

Bajaj Auto’s May 2026 two-wheeler sales stood at 2,09,528 units, up 9% YoY. Chetak Electric emerged as a major growth driver with 38,376 units, while Pulsar 160/200 NS and Pulsar 220 delivered strong gains. However, commuter motorcycles such as Pulsar 125, CT 100 and Freedom remained under pressure.
